Little Country Studio, a small home based business, opened its doors in the spring of 2018 in the newly renovated shop on the acreage. Lee had recently retired from the health care industry and was looking for something to fill her new found “free time”. Ron, with his well-honed wood working skills, was pressed into service.
The business is slowing evolving. We participate as vendors in 5 or 6 craft sales annually so customers are welcome to browse the collection and purchase any signs they wish. If they like a sign, but they don’t like the colors, size, quote etc. customers are invited to order a customized sign. Also if a person has a specific sign they would like made we accept these types of custom orders as well. Delivery of custom orders is generally within 2 weeks of the order being placed.
We also host personalized workshops in our own studio for small groups (6-8 people). This provides individuals with the opportunity to build their own signs. They choose the size of the sign and quote before the workshop. Lee designs the stencils and cuts the vinyl stencil prior to the workshop. Participants then pick their colors of stain/paint and spend a few hours in the workshop creating their masterpieces.
If a larger group is interested in a workshop we are also happy to take the required supplies to a location of the group’s choice and hold a workshop.
Ron (Upcycle Crate Co.) builds a variety of sizes and shapes of crates. He will also customize crates (size, color, shape etc.) based on individual preferences.
